Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Medical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT-ASCP) Location: Somerset, OH Schedule: 36 hours/week (three 12-hour shifts), varied shifts Position Overview Fast-paced hospital laboratory seeking an experienced MT/MLT-ASCP for a 36-hour/week assignment. This role requires a strong Generalist with emphasis in Chemistry and Hematology, and limited Blood Bank responsibilities. Key Responsibilities - Perform generalist testing with primary focus on: - Chemistry - Hematology - Limited Blood Bank duties - Work independently in a high-volume, hospital-based lab environment Equipment & Systems - Chemistry: Ortho 5600 - Hematology: Sysmex - LIS: Beaker and/or SoftLab (strongly preferred) Schedule Requirements - Three 12-hour shifts per week (varied shifts) - Every other weekend (may vary based on staffing and volume) - Participation in holiday rotation Requirements - ASCP certification required - Current or very recent high-volume, hospital-based Chemistry experience is mandatory - Strong Chemistry and Hematology background - Generalist experience preferred - Prior experience with Beaker/SoftLab strongly preferred About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
