Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift LTAC position requiring vent/trach and central line experience in a long-term acute care setting. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital on a chronic care unit - Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am - Patient population includes chronic and medically complex cases - Ventilator and tracheostomy care required - Experience with central lines preferred - May require wound care management - Responsible for shift accountability in patient care utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking - Delegates and supervises assigned personnel in delivering patient care - Staff must clock in and out of the electronic timekeeping system - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be paid at a reduced rate - Candidates cannot be currently employed as permanent staff at any location during assignment - Full US SSN and date of birth required for consideration - RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted - No Canadian SINs accepted /n /n Requirements/n - Active OH or compact RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required - Minimum of 2 years recent LTAC or relevant specialty experience required - Must have vent/trach care experience and knowledge of central line management - Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-648350.
