Location: Chillicothe OH 45601 Duration: 6 months to Long term
Shift: 08:00am-04:00pm (M-F) Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Summary:
Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified
in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicin e and
who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services to
the male population at this facility. Full-time services will also
include spending day/week at the male institution across the
street. Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Assignment may last at least 6 months and eventually lead to
permanent hire if there is mutual good fit. Job Description: •
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to
administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized
treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health
record system • Conducting exams and writing evaluations and
reports • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing • Managing
medication • Completing reclassifications and other reviews as
indicated • Making referrals for specialized care or treatment •
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC
policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional
Association standards • Participating in Continuous Quality
Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews •
Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed • Caseload: Up to
2.5 patients/hour Required: • BLS/ CPR certification • Drug
Enforcement Administration certification. • American Board
certification • Ohio Medical License
