Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,449 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Oncology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Opportunity – Acute Leukemia & Hematology RN – Ohio Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights only), variable weekends based on unit needs, self-scheduling with preference requests accommodated. 13-16 week assignment. Highlights: Specialized acute leukemia unit caring for newly diagnosed patients with high-acuity needs Goal staffing ratio of 1:4 (maximum 1:5), 24-bed unit with 22 average daily census Epic electronic charting system with GE telemetry monitoring 72 hours of structured orientation including dedicated preceptor time on unit Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory, and social services Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and evidence-based patient safety practices Requirements: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; previous travel experience required Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification Preferred Certification: NIHSS Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia recognition, and telemetry monitoring Strong IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining peripheral IVs, PICC line management, central line blood draws, and port access Experience with blood product administration, chemotherapy administration and monitoring, and post-chemotherapy body fluid handling Competency in feeding tube care, rapid response protocols, and recognizing/communicating abnormal lab values Epic charting system experience required Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of acute leukemia patients during critical phases of their treatment journey.
