Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted. • 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Starting and maintaining IVs, Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Additional Skills, see special equipment, Screen missing requirements Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, Tracheostomy care/management Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Shift & Scheduling: Weekends - variable based on unit needs Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units 14 days maximum time off.
