Job Title: Staff RN - Emergency Department - Nights 7PM-7:30AM City/State: Lancaster, Ohio Shift: 7PM - 7:30AM, Nights Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/23/2026 Job Description: The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established policies, procedures and guidelines. Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process. Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process. Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient. Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner. Implements physician orders as written. Assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to the proper department. Requirements: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio. CPR required. Previous nursing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
