Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Dayton, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,199 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU/Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in PCU or Stepdown License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG Telemetry Certification preferred Must-Have: Oncology experience is required. Candidates must have experience with patient ratios of 1:5 in their work history for Stepdown or PCU. EPIC experience is required. Description: The position requires a registered nurse with oncology experience. While sickle cell experience and chemotherapy certification are preferred, they are not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to float to all Stepdown and Advanced Care units. Registered nurses will administer chemotherapy with appropriate certification. The unit specializes in a variety of oncology and hematology patients. Daily census averages around 34 patients in a 35-bed unit. The patient ratios typically target 1:4 but can vary from 1:5 to 1:6 based on patient acuity. Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. The facility reserves the right to adjust scheduling and contracts based on patient census and staffing needs. Nurses are required to have BLS and ACLS, and must be competent in reading telemetry strips. Travelers have the responsibility to float among various assigned medical units as needed.
