Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience required License: Active RN License in the state of practice Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Travel experience required - Skills in administering conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and monitoring conscious sedation Description: We are seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy experience. This position requires nurses who are available for a day shift with rotating schedules. Candidates should be comfortable with every third weekend and on-call duties based on skill level. The registered nurse will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census in the unit averages around 15 patients with multiple procedures performed. Staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Ideal candidates should possess skills in procedure handling and have experience with patient care in an endoscopy setting. Candidates must meet all health and safety vaccinations as per facility policies.
