Job Description Physician – Region 3 Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601 Schedule: Monday–Friday (No evenings, weekends, or holidays) Hours: 40 hours per week Duration: Minimum 6 months (potential for extension or permanent placement) Position Overview We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine) with primary care experience to provide on-site medical services within a secure facility setting. This is a full-time opportunity serving an adult population. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with nationally recognized treatment standards • Conduct medical examinations, evaluations, and clinical documentation using an electronic health record (EHR) system • Order and interpret diagnostic tests • Prescribe and manage medications • Make referrals for specialty care as needed • Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives • Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and professional standards • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Patient Volume: Up to 2.5 patients per hour Required Qualifications • Active Ohio Medical License • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine • Experience in primary care • Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification • DEA Certification (required prior to start) • Master’s Degree (as applicable to medical education requirements) ________________________________________
