Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,503 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemo Certification Must-Have: Chemo certification required Description: Care for adults and geriatrics primarily diagnosed with acute leukemia. Staffing ratios are targeted at 1:4, but can be 1:5. Weekend scheduling is variable based on unit needs. Self-schedule requests are accepted to accommodate preferred schedules. First week of orientation includes day shifts followed by on-unit orientation with a preceptor. A heavy focus is placed on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention. Nurses will be involved in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Responsibilities include IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line management. Candidates must have experience with administering chemotherapy and handling body fluids post-chemotherapy. Monitoring of chemotherapy and recognizing abnormal lab values are expected tasks. In addition, an understanding of acute tumor lysis syndrome is beneficial. This role also involves interdisciplinary support from various departments. Candidates must meet experience requirements within the last three years, with at least one year of current specialty experience necessary. There is a strict compliance deadline prior to the start date, and candidates should complete required regulatory processes promptly. Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a managerial position. All candidates must have a valid nursing license upon submission.
