Job Description Reports To : Chief Clinical Officer FLSA
Classification : Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Clinical
Director provides leadership in overseeing clinical quality, staff
development, and client outcomes across multiple clinics. This
position offers strategic direction and direct supervision for
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), working in close
partnership with operations managers and other leadership to ensure
clinical and operational excellence, integrity, and exceptional
experiences for clients and families. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Leadership & Culture - Models and upholds the
organization’s core values at all times. - Builds rapport and
provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to the BCBA team. -
Oversees and actively participates in weekly leadership meetings
with other directors. - Conducts regular staff meetings and
clinical trainings (virtually and/or in-person as needed). -
Oversees periodic BCBA meetings and supports team quarterly
meetings as necessary. Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance -
Supervises a team of BCBAs to ensure client progress targets are
consistently achieved. - Provides case oversight to ensure
exceptional clinical outcomes for all clients. - Reviews treatment
plans and authorizations for clinical quality and integrity. -
Conducts regular client case reviews across all BCBAs. - Ensures
clients demonstrate meaningful progress as measured by assessments
and individualized treatment plans. - Maintains fidelity in
supervision and parent/caregiver training protocols. Staff
Development & Supervision - Oversees onboarding and clinical
training for new clinical staff, ensuring high completion rates for
training and competency checklists. - Collaborates with executive
leadership on performance improvement and growth plans as needed. -
Supports the BCBA team in delivering quality supervision to interns
and technicians. - Provides guidance, oversight, and constructive
feedback to support professional growth. - Ensures compliance with
all applicable professional and regulatory supervision standards.
Collaboration & Operations - Partners with operations management to
support smooth clinical operations. - Works cross-functionally with
other leaders to maintain consistency in clinical standards. -
Assists BCBAs in addressing client and family concerns,
troubleshooting challenges as they arise. - Monitors the
effectiveness of parent/caregiver training and client satisfaction.
Client & Family Experience - Fosters an exceptional customer
service experience for all clients and community members. -
Conducts regular satisfaction surveys and follow-up communications.
- Ensures timely and professional communication with families.
Caseload & Billing - Collaborates with the operational team to
ensure balanced caseload distribution among BCBAs based on client
needs and clinic capacity. Required Skills & Qualifications - Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing. -
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field. - Minimum of
5 years’ experience as a BCBA, including at least 2 years in a
clinical leadership role (preferred). - Strong leadership and
organizational capabilities. - Ability to work independently with
minimal supervision. - High reliability and attention to detail. -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven ability
to engage teams and deliver timely, high-quality results. -
Functional computer and technology proficiency. - Ability to travel
as required. - Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as necessary.
Work Environment - Primarily in-clinic environment, with the
opportunity to work remotely one day per week.
