Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research. Additional Details: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities. Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry Interpretation - Telemetry monitoring - Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass. - Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls - Required Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Starting and maintaining IVs, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE Preferred Skills/Experience: - Oncology experience - Preferred Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, Tracheostomy care/management Unit/Facility Details: - Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends - variable based on unit needs - If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. - Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule - First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor - Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request Floating Requirements: - Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 14 days maximum time off.
