Schedule • Three 12-hour shifts per week 7 p.m.–7 a.m. • Includes rotating weekends • Two holidays per year ?? What We Offer • Supportive, positive team atmosphere • Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) starting the first of the month • 401(k) with generous company match • Generous PTO accruals • Paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement • Tuition reimbursement • Employee referral program • Hospice certification benefit plus salary increase • Merit-based pay increases • Night shift differential • Employee discount programs What You’ll Do • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act • Implement nursing interventions based on comprehensive assessments and individualized plans of care • Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner • Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, care plans, and symptom management • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care • Manage pain and symptoms effectively and evaluate patient response • Support patients and families with compassion, professionalism, and respect What You Bring • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program • Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice • Three years of nursing experience (community health, hospice, or med/surg preferred) • Current CPR certification • Strong communication and organizational skills • Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle • Understanding of the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference during the hours when patients and families need support most — and you want to be part of a team that values your work and well-being — Capital City Hospice is ready to welcome you.
