Job Description:

work. Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: • 12 months of role
experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have
at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience. •
Travel experience is required from any number of months. •
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. •
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact
license (required for submission). • This role will require
floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates
living • 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at
Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio
State University Wexner Medical Center. Pre-employment modules may
be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or

any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities. Required
Skills/Experience: Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring.
Required Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of
dysrhythmias, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post
neurosurgery, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks,
MS/Tele, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management,
Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing
Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management,
Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management,
Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac
drips (no titration), Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration), PCA,
Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred
Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Preferred Skills:
Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic
Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Chest
tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High
Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases
(ABGs), Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy
care/management. Required Credentials: Education must be from an
ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Shift & Scheduling: Minimum of 4
weekend shifts per 4 week schedule. Floating Requirements: Will be
required to float to different units within the OSU organization as
needed. Other Requirements: References must cover at least 1 full
year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer
position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly
upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require
a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the
