Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience. Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts vary based on unit needs. This position may be D/N rotating; you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Floating Requirements: Float to other MedSurg units within the James Cancer tower. Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Oncology, Respiratory, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Plastics, Surgical drains, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE Preferred Skills/Experience: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown , Titration of Insulin drips , Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management , Accessing/Managing Ports , Manage Cardiac drips- no titration , PCA , Administration of chemotherapy , Monitoring Chemotherapy , Tracheostomy care/management* Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position.
