Job Description GI Hospitalist openings in Dayton, OH AreaPosition DetailsFull-time, permanentSeeking BE/BC GI Hospitalists for new employed positions at hospital in Dayton - the area's only level-1 trauma center.The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates should:* Have an interest in acute care* Have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases* Be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)* Possess excellent communication skills* Be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needsOpportunities exists for EMR, ESD, and EUS for appropriately trained candidates.
