• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Practice Setting: Clinic/Hospital, On-call OB/GYN (locum tenens)
• Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio (43311) - Ohio OB/GYN jobs, locum tenens physician opportunity
• Shift Duration: 24-hour on-call (7am 6/25/26 - 7am 6/26/26); potential for sporadic coverage after
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Call Rotation: 1:4 (weekday and weekend)
• Nursery Level: Level I (hospital obstetrics)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Facility Size: 45 staffed beds, plus a 20-room Emergency Department

Qualifications - OB/GYN Physician Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) in OB/GYN
• Completion of ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Active Ohio medical license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current
• Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred
• Must have completed at least 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, including a minimum of 5 C-sections
• Internal credentialing with the staffing agency required prior to submission
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology required

Responsibilities - Clinical & On-Call OB/GYN Duties

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions)
• Interpret and perform OB ultrasounds (Level I/screening and Level II/targeted)
• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and intrapartum fetal monitoring
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations as required
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation and remain within a 30-minute radius while on call
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and hospital teams for coordinated patient management
• Refer and arrange transfer of high-risk deliveries to tertiary centers as needed
