Apply now and work together with us to improve the health of those we serve.Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to stimulate a program of high quality nursing research through educating and mentoring nurses in the planning and implementation of the research process related to the practice of nursing.Minimum QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certification, Registration, LicenseDoctorateRNL - Registered Nurse License OhioField of Study: BusinessYears of Experience: 0SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Current registered nurse license from the state of Ohio. PhD in Nursing or Related Field MS in Nursing if PhD in Related Field Knowledge of the discipline of nursing Knowledge of research planning and implementation; Knowledge of trends, issues, and resources in nursing research Abilities in grant writing and management, Mentoring skills with adult learners, Ability to work within a large health care delivery system, Competency in interdisciplinary communication and problem solving, strong communication skills, both verbal and written Computer skills w/ WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint Past grant awards Experiences in mentoring adult learners in research and evidenced based practice Experiences in preparing and providing educational opportunities for adult professionals service as principal investigator for research Experience in preparing manuscripts for publication, oral presentations, and poster presentations.
