Job Description:
Overview: Stone House Tavern is seeking a dedicated and
experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. Located in the
heart of Waynesville, OH, our establishment prides itself on
offering a welcoming atmosphere paired with exceptional dining
experiences. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily
operations, manage staff, and ensure that our high standards of
quality and service are consistently met. Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the
restaurant, including managing staff, monitoring inventory,
ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and
maintaining cleanliness standards. Staff Management: Recruit,
train, and supervise restaurant staff. Schedule shifts and manage
payroll to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and handle
customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Build strong relationships with customers to enhance their dining
experience. Financial Management: Monitor restaurant finances,
including budgeting and cost control. Track expenses, manage vendor
relationships, and optimize profitability. Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation, and
presentation. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining
areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on key performance metrics,
such as sales and labor costs. Utilize Excel proficiency to analyze
data and make data-driven decisions to improve restaurant
performance. Requirements: Proven experience as a Restaurant
Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume dining
establishment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the
ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills necessary
for reporting and analysis. Excellent communication skills, both
verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including
evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of restaurant
management software and POS systems is a plus. Certification in
food safety and sanitation practices is preferred. Benefits:
