As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients, ensuring that Hogan1 continues to deliver exceptional value and service. Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck in a safe and efficient manner. Adhere to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while driving. Plan routes using GPS systems to timely deliver goods to various destinations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance where necessary. Document and log work/rest periods, mileage, fuel consumption, and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations and handle unforeseen situations from weather-related delays to road closures. Keep communication equipment operating and maintain regular contact with the dispatch team to update on progress. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Strong adaptability to different environments and routes. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Ability to handle physical workload and to secure cargo effectively. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Good organizational and time management skills. HAZMAT endorsement (preferred but not required).
