_JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES_*: *Responsible for playing a pivotal role in the accounting and financial reporting assessment and conclusion for some of the Companys most complex technical accounting matters. The role assists business partners to make informed decisions around key operational and contractual matters while maintaining accounting compliance. This is a vital role to the company and will play a key role in developing and driving strategic decisions and improvements within the global finance organization. The candidate will contribute towards developing world-class accounting and financial reporting processes and controls to effectively help prepare the Company for its continued future growth, both organically and through acquisitions.

• Analyzing accounting and financial reporting considerations for all areas requiring technical accounting support including complex topics, such as; debt and equity transactions, revenue recognition, leasing, potential merger and acquisitions, and other unique transactions
• Recommends, designs, and implements accounting policy, procedures, and controls
• Coordinates among regions to ensure consistent accounting treatment for all transactions
• Performs technical research to ensure compliance with applicable accounting guidance
• Effectively communicate with regional accounting teams across the globe
• Assure subsidiaries maintain compliance with purchase accounting policies
• Collaborate with key business partners throughout the business including members of the Tax, FP&A, Treasury, External Reporting, Legal, Operations, and Internal Audit teams
• Manage, coach, mentor and develop accounting/finance team members
• Participate in a wide variety of improvement initiatives related to ad-hoc reporting, analytic review, chart of accounts evaluation, systems upgrades/implementations, etc._QUALIFICATIONS:_Minimum Qualifications:(education, experience level, knowledge, skills, designations/certifications).
  • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting
  • CPA with Public Accounting experience
  • 7 years financial leadership including complex transactions, financial reporting, technical accounting and analytical review
  • Experience maintaining updated financial statements in Hyperion Financial Management in SOX 404 environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and brings a hands-on style and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-moving company with a wide variety of strategic initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards
