Encova Insurance has an opening for a Developer. This role will have the option to work a hybrid schedule at either our Columbus, Ohio or Charleston, WV location with occasional in office work on an as needed basis for meetings and projects. With this flexible hybrid schedule, you must reside within a three-hour driving distance of either office. We can hire at multiple seniority levels depending on candidate qualifications.JOB OBJECTIVE:Associate will be working on Document Solutions across enterprise. This person will be responsible to design and develop document templates, solutions to produce and manage content across enterprise. Support, maintenance, and enhancements across CCM and ECM applications. Work with business analysts, understand requirements and implement them individually or with team member help. Working with other team members both internal and cross teams to integrate the services, troubleshoot and support.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work on ECM applications like FileNet and Datacap. Configure, design and develop as per requirements.
• Be a part of document design using CCM application Smart Communications.
• Manage applications: installations, upgrades, and infrastructure management.
• Perform unit testing and assist QA team with System Testing as needed.
• Production Support, investigate technical issues collaborating with senior team member, provide solution and fix issues.
• Provide on-call support as needed.OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  • Open and passionate to learn new technologies to support the team as needed.
  • Team oriented and should be able to work with diverse team.
  • Creative problem solver and analytical thinking.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
    • Some experience on Java or any programming language.
    • Knowledge on Web Services, Javascript, XML and SQL.
    • Basic understanding of application servers and linux/windows OS.
    • Should be a quick learner and be able to adapt.
    • Able to work in fast-pacing agile environment.
    • Able to follow coding standards and best practices.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Any knowledge on ECM applications like FileNet/Datacap, CCM applications like Smart Communications (Thunderhead) or concepts will be added advantage.This position has been evaluated in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
