Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. Follow planned routing to meet delivery schedules and maximize productivity. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety. Document and log work/rest periods, mileage, fuel consumption, and other information in the electronic logging device (ELD). Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers. Communicate effectively with dispatchers to update on progress and any issues. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures. Maintain safety standards at all times, ensuring the security of the cargo. Proficient in the operation of GPS and other navigation systems. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Good problem-solving abilities under pressure.
