Repair position is $34.48 per hour and will receive contractual
increases as outlined in the contract. This role may be called one
of the following at another company: Technician, Mechanic,
Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & Repair, Maintainer. Crown

Machine Repair technicians at our Dayton, OH facility. Here is your
opportunity to help on the Dayton team that manufactures millions
of beverage can ends per day. The Machine Repair duties include:
Responsible for the mechanical performance of line and standard
production output Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment
to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair.
Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of
equipment. Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up
and operates all types of equipment and machine tools. Performs any
dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance.
Reads blue prints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to
determine type and dimensions of stock required. Safety oriented. 3
years experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing
environment. Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds. Must be
experienced in maintenance and repair of production machines and
equipment. Must be available to work 12 hour shifts. Must pass a
pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. Physical
Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the team
member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger,
handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands
and arms. The team member frequently is required to climb or
balance and talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required
to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must regularly
lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to
25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
