Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a DevOps Supervisor who will be the leader within our cloud infrastructure group and work hands-on in Azure. You will drive the process for rapid CI/CD pipelines to production. This role will partner with the scrum product teams to set direction and engineering leadership to drive key initiatives, continuously looking for opportunities to automate and apply new Microsoft Azure features.

Our DevOps Supervisor Will Be Responsible For The Following
Hire, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of DevOps engineers.
Create, document, improve, and oversee administration of DevOps practices and processes.
Take complete ownership of the technical implantation of projects
Stay abreast of all DevOps engineers, their projects, and prioritize statuses.
Instill a culture of innovation and automation amongst the DevOps team.
Champion the DevOps culture within IT.
Lead a team that helps support the company's application suite via break/fix support, code deployments, trend analysis, and ensuring scalability.

Bachelor's degree in a computer related field, or relevant certifications and supporting work experience.
Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
Familiarity with agile software development best practices
Experience with object-oriented and scripting languages; preferably C#, JavaScript and PowerShell
Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins. Azure DevOps experience preferred.
Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Terraform and Bicep.
Collaborates with others to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
Detail and process-oriented with conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to make recommendations for improvement.
The ability to offer recommendations of corrective action for identified deficiencies as needed, as well monitoring the corrective action process.
The ability to analyze existing systems to create architecture documentation that outlines the as-is, transitions and to-be states, along with written and oral communication of the plan to technical and business stakeholders.
Solution, technical and enterprise architecture certification(s) preferred but not required.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to rapidly accumulate in-depth company and industry knowledge.
Self-motivated working ability with minimal supervision or direction.
Must have a "can-do" attitude. Is flexible to work outside of normal business hours.
This position requires the execution of an Employment Agreement contract between Kimball Midwest and the employee.
