Job Description:

Project Executives perform responsibilities in ten primary roles: Executive Client Relationship Management (Project), Internal Project Team Support, Operational Excellence, Risk Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Development, Work Acquisition, Marketing, Special Projects, and Culture. These ten roles are designed to support Bancroft's commitment to success in External Relations, Growth, Customer Satisfaction, Operational Excellence, and Internal
Harmony. Project Executives are required to demonstrate flexibility and fluidity when performing the responsibilities of the position based on the current and future circumstances related to any aspect of the project to ensure its success. Please note that responsibilities bolded and italicized below represent the most critical items related to the role of the Project Executive position. Executive Client Relationship Management (Project ) Provide a direct link/liaison between Bancroft Project Teams and Executive level owner representatives so that communication between companies/parties is clear, concise, timely, and honest. Establish project goals in relationship to but not limited to: success factors, schedule, budget, scope, safety, challenges, and execution of various plans. Have a face to face meeting with the Customer, at a minimum of once per quarter, away from the Project Team (e.g., lunch, one on one meeting) in order to determine performance and progression towards the project's goals. Consider the following: How is Bancroft doing overall? What can Bancroft do better? How is the Bancroft team performing? Ensure the PPW is held and well documented Drill down to get Customer's "hot buttons" Keep communication open and honest at a high level Participate in Executive/Owner meetings with Clients Project Leadership (Executive level) Own and implement Project Marketing Plan Internal Project Team Support Provide support for the Bancroft Project Team to ensure they have the appropriate resources necessary for managing the job successfully and are meeting the Client's expectations. Mentor Project Team by identifying key learnings during the course of the project and opportunities for team member development. Meet with PMs/Project Teams between Owner Meetings/Know projects Monitor and advise BCC Team to ensure we meet expectations Monitor and advise Project Team resources /needs Support the Project Team Participate in monthly Executive Reports development Operational Excellence Engage and ensure that components of the internal systems, processes, and controls (Bancroft Way) are consistently and effectively executed across the project lifespan. Provide ongoing coaching to the Project Team or company based on Customer feedback to assure positive project experiences. Keep an eye on PFO and be of assistance as needed by the Project Manager(s) Assess project against the PPW Success Factors Advise Project and Bancroft Team on recommended adjustments Participate in review of project reporting (MSRs) Ensure a Customer Satisfaction Survey is held Communicate key learnings to Project Team and/or company Risk Management Proactively collaborate with the Project Team to identify potential risks (e.g., cost, safety, quality, schedule), road blocks, and strategies to mitigate risk. Ensure the PPW/Project Execution Plan accounts for the Owner's sensitive or high risk areas. Look for risks and ensure they are analyzed and communicated (internally and externally) Understand and support Risk Mitigation Processes Understand important or sensitive issues (Project Owner) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Build a network! Develop a solid Customer Relationship in alignment with the Project Marketing Plan (PMP) both within and outside of the project parameters with the Owner, Design Team, and other Stakeholders. Maintain and continue to grow relationships established from past PMPs. Maintain a dynamic and broad CRM list. Coach Project Team members with Customer Relationship Management development (CRM). Build Clients into repeat partners Develop a solid Customer relationship Manage other stakeholders' (Design Team, Consultants, etc.) relationships Strengthen connection to Owner/Owner's Team with activities (outside Project) Guide employees on CRM Business Development Convert your network into projects. Develop existing and new relationships with Bancroft personnel and the Client, AEs, Consultants,
Subcontractors, Vendors, and Influencers throughout the project's duration to identify future projects and opportunities. Promote Bancroft's service beyond the immediate Project Team. Participate in industry associations to develop connections and foster new relationships. Participate in CM proposal development and presentations Promote Bancroft's services to new and existing Clients Participate in outside Associations to develop connections and new Clients Expand relationships throughout Industry Organizations Possess in-depth knowledge, contacts in assigned markets Get the next job. Understand the Client's "spend" pipeline Work Acquisition/Negotiating Projects Participate in Bancroft Strategic Marketing to develop key market sectors and target areas. Engage in review of current, new, and potential Clients and projects. Participate in work acquisition efforts by a ssisting with proposals and presentations strategies, content development, and working with estimating on lump sum bid opportunities. Provide expertise during the Interview process and assist with contract negotiation and execution. Work with BD to evaluate and discuss potential projects as part of the Go/No Go process Ensure comprehensive transition from Preconstruction to Operations Assist in work acquisition strategy development Help the Client understand the CM/GC/GMP/Design-Build Process Develop business relationships and additional business opportunities Assist Preconstruction with lump sum bidding opportunities Assist Preconstruction with bid day, estimates, deliverables, etc. Marketing/Branding Support Bancroft's Mission and Vision by participating in professional opportunities (Thought Leadership) where expertise can be shared with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Owners, Design Professionals, Subcontractors, etc.). Along with Marketing, ensure the execution of the post project Customer Satisfaction interview or survey with the Customer - always putting the results in writing back to the owner and copying Senior Management. Strive to obtain a testimonial from the Customer. Identify and communicate potential or developing problems to the VP of Operations if they can't be solved at the Project Executive level. Thought leadership/market sector expert Promote brand awareness and understanding Special Projects Engage in special projects, roles, and initiatives as needed to support BCC's Vision 2020. Culture Embody and promote Bancroft's culture to all internal and external stakeholders. Guide team/relationship building with all Stakeholders Inspire and Motive Project Team and Stakeholders Support a cohesive Project Team functionality Ensure Project Team exhibits BCC cultural behaviors Project BCC culture: seen and recognized by Stakeholders Coach/Mentor staff on professional development Recruitment and Interviewing Experience with Healthcare and Science & Technology preferred.
