the Challenge?ROLE SUMMARY:The Process Engineer at the Columbus
Brewery will need to be a hard worker who isn't afraid of a
challenge. They will have full ownership over the success and
continuous improvement initiatives of an equipment area within our
different departments. This is a highly technical role, so
candidates will need to be subject matter expert level with
electrical and instrumentation capabilities. We are looking for a
candidate who is energized by a fast paced, always evolving, and

- Provide technical (electro mechanical) leadership to solve
medium to long range process based problems at the Brewery.
- Monitor equipment uptime performance and provide guidance for
improvement for area of expertise/ownership.
- Provide technical support for the planning and execution of
overhauls of mechanical equipment in area of
expertise/ownership.
- Lead learning and development initiatives to improve the
technical knowledge and skill set of operators and technicians
within area of expertise/ownership.
- Work with brewery leadership and technicians, contractors,
and/or OEM vendors to achieve objectives and reliability around
area of expertise/ownership.
- Utilize standard management tools (VPO) to achieve critical
metric targets close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, SIC,
MCRS, 5 Whys, PDCA and SCDA cycles, etc.)
- Lead efforts to support improvement in safety and quality
performance.Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,or
related degree.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or
Industrial setting.
- Well-developed cross-functional problem solving & multi-tasking
abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented &
strong customer focus skills
- Experience with mechanical processes (drivetrains, conveying
systems, machining processes, etc.) and mechanical
troubleshooting.
- Team Lead / Management experience a plus
- Plant experience and/or background supporting industrial
