medicines. When completed, the Advanced Assembly and Final Product

but it will also integrate sustainability innovations to reduce
carbon and waste, as part of Amgen's plan to be a carbon-neutral
company by 2027.We are looking for an experienced Environment,
Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to drive outstanding
performance in a diverse manufacturing environment The primary
objectives of this position are to help ensure that the facility,
equipment, and procedures are in place to enable a safe start-up of
operations. After start-up, this role will be responsible for
managing EHS industrial safety programs to ensure safe operations
and to help drive an actively caring safety culture.Primary
responsibilities include:You will be responsible for supporting key
EHSS programs, collaborating with business partners to advance
their safety culture and performance.You will support and influence
business partners with input from other EHSS authorities at the
site and from within the Amgen EHSS community.Manage assigned EHSS
programs in a GMP environment and act as the site subject matter
expertEnsure regulatory compliance for all assigned
programsImplement robust compliance readiness and internal auditing
program for each programProvide regular updates to Global Program
owners and EHSS Site Lead on the status of each programAnalyze
metrics and establish action plans to ensure continuous
improvement.Implement risk assessment plans to address risks and
ensure that control systems are implemented and maintained.Ensure
changes with potential EHSS impact are assessed and controls are
established prior to implementationEnsure hazards are identified
and risks are assessedEstablish safe work procedures for hazardous
work, including conducting work area inspectionsMonitor incident
trends and conduct incident investigations to implement robust
corrective actions to prevent future incidents and injuriesWinWhat

seek will have these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Master's
degreeORBachelor's degree or and 2 years of Environmental Health,
Safety and Sustainability experienceORAssociate degree and 6 years
of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability experienceORHigh
school diploma / GED and 8 years of Environmental Health, Safety
and Sustainability experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience in
a GMP manufacturing environmentExperience managing industrial
safety programs during new pharmaceutical facility
start-upExperience performing ergonomic risk assessmentsExperience
managing emergency action plans and emergency response
