Employment Type:Full timeShift:Shift_8Description:In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Certified Pharmacy Tech - Coordinator provides support for the interview process, evaluation process, establishing schedules, and adjusting/communicating assignments.Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Education: High School or GED required
  • Licensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
  • Experience: 2 year minimum experience, 3-5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of supervision and onboarding
  • Thorough experience in all pharmacy operational areas; proficiency with internet based applications

  • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in ana effort to continually improve quality and safety.Essential Responsibilities

    • Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.

    • Relationship-based Care: Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel following the principles of our interdisciplinary care delivery system.
    • Oversee technician training, development, including identification and correction of deficiencies
    • Reviews and assists with the establishment of operational policies and standard work instructions
