Hiringimmediately! - -$1000.00sign on bonus after completion of 180 day probation! - -Starting pay$25.60Reportsdirectly to the substance abuse supervisor. - Responsiblefor the implementation and maintenance of an effective IntensiveOutpatient Program (IOP) and Alcohol and Drug Abuse (AOD) programwith emphasis placed on awareness, prevention, staff training andnetworking with community resources in compliance with Management& Training Corporation (MTC) and Ohio Department ofRehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC)directives. -EssentialFunctions:Developa system to promote the coordination and integration of thesubstance abuse treatment components with other facilityprograms.Assessinmates with identified substance abuse problems; develop andimplement a plan to modify or control the problem(s) by workingwith inmates, counselors, instructors and the mental healthconsultant, asappropriate.Ensuredocumentation of all inmates' assessments and plans arein the inmates' recovery services records regardingsubstance abuseproblem(s).Provideongoing comprehensive training for all staff members in thesubstance abuse area with specific goals toward staff education andawareness, staff skills in identification and reporting substanceabuse programs, individual staff member counseling skills andgeneral team building throughout thefacility.Conductsubstance abuse and tobacco cessation classes, group educational,peer support and other treatment sessions forinmates.Encourageawareness of substance abuse issues throughout thefacility.Developlinkages with community resources for substance abuseservices.Promotethe development of positive social skills through modelingappropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviorsareobserved.Maintainaccountability of inmates and property; adhere to safetypractices.Itis expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties asassigned within his/her capabilities as determined bymanagement.Educationand Experience Required: - - -Musthold current certification of credentials in the one of thefollowing: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II)-Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III)- LicensedIndependent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)- LicensedIndependent Social Worker (LISW) by state of Ohio Counselor& Social Worker Board- Professional Clinical Counselor(PCC) by state of Ohio Counselor & Social Worker Board.- Professional Counselor (PC) by state of Ohio Counselor& Social Worker Board - Licensed Social Worker(LSW) by state of Ohio Counselor & Social Worker Board.-Licensed Physician by state of Ohio Medical Board. -Licensed Psychologist by state of Ohio Board of Psychology.- Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing. -Psychology Assistant as defined in paragraph (B) (14) of OhioAdministrative Rule 3793:2-1-11. - One (1) year relatedexperience preferred. - Valid driver's license inthe state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record unless waivedby management. -MTC is an EqualOpportunity Employer. - -#ZR#Talent -
