Job Description:

Manpower is looking for an experienced Buyer for our manufacturing client in Barboursville, WV. As a temp-to-perm position, the role offers a competitive salary, 401K match, paid holidays, benefits, and vacation time once permanent. Job Duties:

• Review material requisitions, evaluate quotations, authorize purchases within budgetary limits.
• Prepare purchase orders, change orders, and documents.
• Resolve discrepancies pertaining to purchase orders, requisitions, supplier deliveries, prices, invoices and troubleshoot issues relative to non-confirming good with suppliers and appropriate company personnel. Qualifications:
  • Two years professional buying experience in industry required; pump industry or machined parts experience strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with computerized procurement systems.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
