that embraces dignity of all. Counselor Job Description:Under the
direction of the lead counselor and/or the site supervisor and/or
clinical supervisor, the Counselor will be responsible for
substance use and mental health counseling, case management and
treatment planning for clients who have been referred to
Maryhaven's Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) for treatment. The
Counselor will maintain a caseload of clients receiving medication
assisted treatment while providing referrals for assessed needs and
appropriate level of care. The Counselor will assist in the OTP
clinic as needed to assist with client check-in, observe urinalysis
screens and promote a therapeutic environment. The Counselor will
work with other clinicians and medical staff on the team to address
client needs and promote treatment goals. Counselor
Requirements:Associate Arts or Bachelor's degree in human service
or behavioral science with one to two years of experience in the
filed of chemical dependency, or mental health treatmentLCDC II,
LCDC III, LPC, LSW, LISW or comparable license or certification
with one to two years of paid full time experience in the field of
chemical dependency or mental health treatment equivalent
