Coordinates, implements, and evaluates the organization's infection prevention and control program to ensure consistent high-quality patient care for the hospital.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Medical technology, Microbiology, Epidemiology, or other related field; and have completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
Required Skills
Licenses:
If RN, current license in the state of Georgia
Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum Work Experience
Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education and/or certification
Infection Control experience of 1 year preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
