From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent to healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.Job Title: CT TechJob Location: Columbus, OHJob Type: Contract - 2 to 3 MonthsJob Duties:* Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients internal organs and tissues.* Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.* Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.* Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.* Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.* Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.* Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.* Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.Job Requirements:* Bachelors or associate degree in radiologic technology.* State license to work as a CT technologist.* CT technologist certification from American Registry of radiologic technologists (ARRT).* Proven experience working as a CT technologist.* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.* The ability to stand for extended periods.* Strong technical skills.* Excellent problem-solving skills.* Effective communication skills.* Travel required.Schedule:* Day shift* 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Mon, Tues, Wed and Thur.* 40 hours weeklyJob Type: ContractPay: $65.00 per hourSchedule:* 10 hour shift* Day shiftLicense/Certification:* CT technologist certification from ARRT (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
