Regardless of your experience, we want to connect with you! - -About the Unit: -The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) at Mount Carmel St. Ann's has 30 beds, with space to accommodate between 6-9 progressive care patients. The Registered Nurse could expect to see patients related to NSTEMI and post STEMI/cardiac arrest, post-cardiac cath and acute coronary syndrome, AAA repair, atrial fibrillation, amputations, and femoral-popliteal bypass. The RN will also care for patients in diabetic ketoacidosis and acute respiratory failure on Bipap or AirVo. This unit offers a strong, welcoming teamwork environment. An RN would have many amazing opportunities to learn and grow their nursing knowledge with both intermediate and progressive care patient populations. The Casual Unit-Based II RN collaborates in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.Responsibilities

    • Graduate from school of nursing
    • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
    • Work experience will include a minimum of two years of nursing -in an acute care environment
