Operator is a key role responsible for executing production
processes. This includes operating and monitoring equipment,
interacting and collaborating with other operators, adhering to
production regulations and safety protocols, and maintaining
product quality through aseptic techniques. The role involves
performing preventative maintenance, following GMP documentation,
and collaborating in initiatives to enhance efficiency and
quality.This role is located in Athens, Ohio.The
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production line equipment, contributing to
efficient workflow and meeting production targets.
- Participates in automated line production, cleaning, PM,
material movement and packaging processes.
- Follows safety protocols, GMP production documentation, and
adheres to PPE requirements.
- Assists in conducting first article inspections and quality
checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Participates in equipment change-overs and line clearances to
ensure smooth transitions between different products or
batches.
- Collaborates with the Lead Automation Line Operator and team
members to address technical problems and contribute to process
improvements.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, following
cleanliness monitoring procedures.
- Supports material requisition for daily production needs and
outflows of completed parts.
- Completes production documentation accurately and organize
records.
- Participates in daily staff stand-up meetings to align with
production goals and safety initiatives.
- Performs general preventative maintenance on production line
equipment, as directed by the Automation Operator Lead.The
IndividualRequired:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 or more years of related experience in a technical automation
manufacturing environment or equivalent related manufacturing or
technical experience.
- Knowledge of federal regulations (QSR's, ISO, ISO 13485,
CMDR)
- Experience with high complexity, semi-automated production
equipment
- Ability to perform manufacturing operations with a focus on
quality and efficiency
- Understanding of manufacturing systems, documentation, and
compliance
- Basic knowledge of GMP, Documentation Practices
- Awareness of quality consequences related to job
performance.Preferred:
- Technical degree or certification
- Knowledgeable of federal and other regulations, e.g. QSR's,
ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR
- Experience with high complexity, semi-automated production
equipment
- Familiarity with MS Office and software systems used in

Team,The Work EnvironmentThe work environment is representative of
a clean room/dry room and highly technical manufacturing line,
requiring adherence to safety protocols and flexible work hours to
meet project deadlines.The Physical DemandsPosition requires
ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. May be required
to perform repetitive manufacturing processes (e.g., manual loading
and handling of sub-assemblies, material transferring between work
cells, loading of parts into hoppers etc.) up to 50% of workday.
Walking, standing, and/or sitting for long periods of time (up to
75% of the day) are routine to accomplish tasks in this role.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and
distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Personal
