Title: Sr. Maintenance SupervisorReports to: Chief Operations OfficerEmployee Type: Full TimeExperience: 7+ years experience in convenience retail facility management & maintenanceLocation: Mid-WestExecutive Search Firm: Haskel Thompson & Associates Contact: Phone: Scope: The Sr. Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance functions and managing the maintenance team for over 65 retail gas station & convenience store locations in the Midwest. This position will be in charge of the inside and outside of the retail facility along with a team of 3 personnel reporting to it. Position Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership, strategic direction and multi-location oversight of the maintenance department to ensure quality support services for the retail locations.
• Manages a team of 2-3 maintenance personnel in providing guidance, training and direction on the timely and quality handling of numerous maintenance issues impacting the retail locations.
• Managing numerous contractors who provide maintenance services to the retail locations.
• Managing and scheduling repairs and services to the stores and completing projects in a timely manner.
• Enforces compliance of operations personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental and OSHA regulations.
• Communicates daily issues and pertinent information to maintenance personnel, store management and senior management as needed.
• Directs activities of maintenance personnel and contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings and grounds.
• Reviews invoices upon submission for accurate cost and charges rendered
• Handles procurement functions of grounds maintenance and routine procurement purchases
• Provides training to maintenance personnel as needed.
• Leads and assists in the development of and implementation of capital maintenance projects related to store operations.
• Ensures that an ongoing preventive maintenance schedules are being managed and adhered to in order to maximize store success and enhance the customer experience.
• Ensures proper staffing of the department including recruitment and ongoing evaluation of employees.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors as required.
• Coordinates the implementation of necessary work to meet environmental requirements and provides reporting and internal auditing of environmental compliance.
  Qualifications:-- 7+ years' experience in Convenience Retail Facility Management & Maintenance-- 5+ years of managerial experience, managing technical and non-technical personnel. -- Must have experience with register systems such as:o Rubyo Commandero Passport-- This person must also be Gilbarco Certified.
