Company DescriptionREFERENCE ID #: REF18056CAbout This JobJob DescriptionThe primary role of the Senior Analyst in our Price & Promotion Practice Areais to build deliverables for assigned solution area(s), and effectively activate clients through our insights and solutions. Associates will primarily focus on Revenue Growth Management (RGM)/ Revenue Management Optimization (RMO)He/she will be responsible for all aspects of the analysis including conducting analysis of results, simulating client plans, creating deliverable materials, and supporting presentation/training/tool delivery. This position is off-site.ResponsibilitiesDrive Client ValueExecuting analysis including proper setup, QC and validationEnsuring analysis results are of high quality from a statistical and a business logic viewpointProviding error free, on time results internally through the process and to clientsWorking consultatively and creatively with clients and NielsenIQ teamsConducting advanced issue-based analyses and developing proactive, outcome driving insightsInterpreting simulation results to assist in preparing client presentations, tools and workshopsSimulate client plans based on financial constraints, strategies and predicted outcomesLearn and GrowSeeking out learning and development opportunities to expand skill setWorking towards building industry knowledge across CPG categories; understands that different categories and brands play different roles and require different ways of thinkingDeveloping competencies to communicate insights effectively with our clients, including presentation skills, business consulting and storytelling abilityQualifications2-4 years of relevant experience in Market Research, Revenue Growth Management, Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting or Analytics College/University Undergraduate DegreeProficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfortable with formulas, pivot tables and macrosDetail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven experience with project management; ability to move tasks along their timeline proactively, providing updates to the project team, while managing multiple prioritiesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.About NielsenIQNielsenIQ is a global measurement and data analytics company that provides the most complete and trusted view available of consumers and markets worldwide.
