Pay will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This is an onsite position at a client location in Pataskala, OH - No full-time remote option available

NetOps Tier 1 Technician (T1) - On-site at Licking Heights School District

Description:

The NetOps Tier 1 Technician (T1) position is a resource that will be dedicated to Licking Heights School District working an eight-hour shift on-site within the School campus to provide an array of IT support outlined in the following responsibilities sections.



Responsibilities:

- Respond to helpdesk calls from staff and faculty

- Provide status updates on helpdesk tickets

- Oversee helpdesk intake queue and respond to helpdesk requests

- Leverage an array of support tools to remotely troubleshoot and fix issues

- Effective document issues and their resolutions for helpdesk tickets

- Assist with technical support needs for School assets to include: PC's, tablets, Chromebooks, laptops, mobile phones, printers, interactive displays, projectors, and peripheral hardware

- Follow policies and procedures for Licking Heights School District and NetOps

- Follow the direction of NetOps management to complete other tasks related IT infrastructure

- Manage personal Ticket Queue, schedule, and communications to clients

- Effective document issues and their resolutions for helpdesk tickets

- Additional duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:

- Possess a passion for technology and learning

- COMPTIA A+, Net+, Security+ entry level certifications are preferred to start or must be obtained as part of Tier 1

- Possess strong problem-solving skills

- Fundamental understanding of network and computer concepts

- Must be an effective communicator with both verbal and written interactions

- Be a self-starter



Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate degree or other formal education in IT

- IT related certification

- Previous experience in IT
