Field Service Technician Join afast growing company that is helping the national environment- alternative fuels renewable and liquid natural gas. Direct hire with full benefits and other compensations. Working on fueling stations and pumps looking for individuals with an electrical and mechnical background. Automotive repair is a good fit too- even if a hobby!! Summary Inspect, maintain and complete repairs on CNG and/or LNG fueling equipment, including compressors, dispensers, priority panels, dryers, storage tanks and other related equipment. During inspections, Service Technician II will identify and repair corrective action and/or proactive maintenance service actions required on CNG / LNG equipment. Service Tech II will participate and/or lead in major overhauls, rebuilds and startups. Service Tech II will perform Preventative Maintenance service orders with minimal supervision and escalate to Service Tech II and Master Technician as needed. Service Technician II will ensure that assigned stations are aesthetically pleasing for our customers by cleaning and wiping down equipment, removing visible trash and ensuring trash containers are emptied. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Electrical: Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment such as but not limited to electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters, frequency drives and controls for safe and proper operating condition. Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems such as current overloads, ground faults, open circuits and faulty relay logic, also should be able to monitor, check and correct phase imbalances, current draw, low voltage power supply's, pressure transmitters, relay logic and programmable logic control operation. Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals. Mechanical: Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment such as but not limited to, compressors pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves and actuators for safe and proper operating condition. Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair such mechanical problems as high and low pressure gas flow restrictions, interstage gas compressor temperatures and pressures, pressure regulator variance and should be have a strong understanding and be able to monitor, interpret, check and correct operational trends in reciprocating and screw type gas compressors. Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals. Job Requirements:

  • Providing high quality repair service on equipment
  • Maintain equipment in the field
  • Providing field support/repair/preventative maintenance of medical services equipment for the company's field locations
  • Supporting inventory for equipment maintenance
  • Resolve issues related to installation and service/repair
  • Provide field installation, system troubleshooting and repairs and training support for customers in the field
  • Maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as ignition, governor, lubrication and engine control systems by performing the following duties
  • Providing high quality repair service on equipment
  • Do installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance on various equipment
  • Perform periodic maintenance and repair service at customer locations
  • Complete maintenance and repair records
  • Assisting in problem solving, equipment installation and repair
  • Provide service and repair as well as service and maintenance training for installed Dematic systems and equipment
  • Resolve while on-site or with field technician
  • Ensure proper repair and maintenance procedures
  • Operate equipment and perform maintenance tasks
  • Deploy, repair, troubleshoot or replace electronic equipment
  • Perform minor electrical/instrumentation maintenance and repair
  • Maintain installation and service tools
  • Work within field services team focusing on equipment operation and product installation
