exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Transportation Analyst to join
our dynamic team in Heath, Ohio .Position Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the development of the statement of work
to secure cost-effective transportation services.
- Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and
business process review.
- Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams
defining export control programs.
- Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and
responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export
control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations,
federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations and the Boeing
Compliance Offices.
- Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
- Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
- Designs transportation plans and solutions.
- Provides program managers with the development of
transportation plans.
- Identifies requirements and business rules for third party
freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance.This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work onsite at one of the listed location
options.This position is for 1st shift.This position requires the
ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- More than 3 years of experience using all the following
Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing,
warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years of experience processing dangerous good
shipments for both surface and air.
- More than 3 years of experience working in logistics or
transportation.Typical Education/Experience:Typically 6 or more
years related work experience or relevant military experience.
Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not
required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable
benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate
area or relocate at their own expense.Travel:Position may require
