Join us to bring the gift of health to life.Inventory Control SupervisorNew Albany, OHPosition Summary:Maintains and analyzes warehouse and site inventories.-- Oversees cycle counts, audits of inventory processes and procedures, physical inventories, monitors & resolves transactions, training, and leads all site reporting and data analysis efforts with leadership.-- The incumbent analyzes and corrects daily inventory discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain a highly accurate and precise perpetual inventory record.Responsibilities:Supervises and audits Supply Chain inventory processes and procedures, including site cycle count program. Directs the assessment of operations processes to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness, and the subsequent improvement of those processes. Schedules meetings with all involved business units. Recommends and documents process improvements and procedural changes as needed.--Create, maintain, and reports on all department and site KPI/metrics as needed.-- Ability to extract the necessary data from various systems to create, monitor and report key performance updates and trends to leadership on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis or as needed.Initiates, reviews, and approves cycle count variances daily.-- Reports weekly and monthly site-specific metrics and accuracy measurements.-- Determines root causes and provides recommendations as needed and monitors the implementation of process improvements.Maintains inventory accuracy metrics and measurements for Operations.-- Meets bi-monthly with functional groups to report results and recommend strategic plans for inventory process improvements.--Maintains all inventory accuracy data queries, analysis, and enterprise-wide reporting.Audits supply chain inventory processes and procedures.-- Facilitates the creation and modification of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as required.Monitors product notices to ensure proper handling, warehousing, storage, documentation, and destruction of materials. Records and reports material handling errors to department supervision.Assists in the implementation and evaluation of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution related software and process improvements that will increase inventory accuracy levels in the various departments, site, and company supply chain.Establishes and executes procedures to ensure accuracy of Company inventory at site locations. Supervises physical inventories and/or audits for the facility. Supervises any external inventory request or cycle counts from external auditors.Ability to translate and train production and warehouse employees on key functions in JD Edwards (ERP) to increase site knowledge and understanding.--Collaborates with Business and IT stakeholders to develop tools, data queries, and processes for continuous improvement projects and metric reporting processes.Provides expertise and supervises training activities in support of current and future shop floor, warehousing and distribution systems and processes (i.e. Advanced Warehousing).Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Education:A four-year college degree or its equivalent combination of education/relevant work experience is required.Certification:A certificate in American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) or certification in Product and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.Experience:Requires two to five years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment.-- Process and computerized systems knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials, and inventory control is preferred.Experience working with JD Edwards or SAP is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Requires:Excellent organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.Strong knowledge and ability of data mining and reporting tools (i.e., Cetova, Power BI, Tableau).Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the business.The ability to plan, organize, coordinate, schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and adjust to changing priorities and assignments.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)Physical Requirements:General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time.-- Ability to move about an office.-- Travel required between local offices and temperature-controlled warehouses.Environment:Exposure to disagreeable elements is minimal.Safety:The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.Supervisory Responsibility:NoneOUR OFFERHere, career paths aren't predefined, and bureaucratic limitations don't exist -- you have the opportunity to grow, learn from industry pioneers, and develop the way you want to.
