Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Maintenance Technician positions with an industry leader in manufacturing filler metals for welding and other manufacturing processes.

Position Details:
--- Title: Maintenance Technician
--- Location: Troy, OH (North of Dayton)
--- Shift: 2nd Shift (2PM - 10AM) or 3rd Shift (10PM - 6AM)
--- Compensation: $28-$36/hr. based on experience, plus $1.40 shift differential
--- First Year W2 - $65k-$80k
--- Benefits: Company offers an industry leading benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401K match program (up to 4.5%), 3 weeks PTO, and multiple other fringe benefits.

Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician performs electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic trouble shooting, repair, and general preventative maintenance on all facility, plant, and warehouse equipment.

Requirements:
--- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
--- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills
--- Understanding of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance / replacement
--- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
--- Ability to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers
--- Experience and knowledge troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and Electrical Control systems
--- A team player who possesses an excellent attitude
--- Willing to pursue further education - particularly regarding electrical control systems
--- Use logical thinking and the ability to analyze cause and effect situations
--- Capacity to address several issues or problems simultaneously
