Purpose of Position
The Sales Operations Associate is responsible for contributing to the sales and marketing efforts with a high level of accuracy while acting as a liaison between the corporate office and the outside sales team. You must develop and maintain a working knowledge of core products, programs, and processes to assist in generating revenue and achieving our business strategies and objectives. The Sales Operations Associate is accountable for all inbound Sales inquiries and must ensure a positive customer experience from inquiry to sales engagement. You will be involved in all stages of the sales process by aiding internal and external teams through engagement, analysis, preparation of proposals and contracts, and system reporting.Tasks and Responsibilities



  • First point of contact for all inbound prospect inquiries and issues
  • Provide prospective Owners with NetJets program information including company background, Share, Lease, and Jet Card details while ensuring that all pertinent contact information is being captured
  • Assesses private aviation needs using effective questioning and uses the information to engage the appropriate Sales Executive or Sales Consultant
  • Confirms all leads are entered into Salesforce.com and assigned appropriately to a Sales team in accordance with the NetJets sales cycle
  • Manages a high volume of prospect and customer interactions via telephone and email which require a high level of tenacity
  • Provides ideas and feedback to Sales and Marketing Management with regard to product offering/pricing, website, campaigns, etc
  • Executes and provides reporting to management regarding lead handling, warm transfers and campaign responses providing insight into prospect responses and availability of Consultants and Executives regarding prospect follow-up
  • s the subject matter expert in creating multi-million dollar proposals for Share, Lease and Jet Card purchases based upon Owner/prospect needs
  • Makes program and product recommendations based upon current product offerings, availability, knowledge of cost structure and contractual terms
  • Creates Owner reports such as annual usage, renewal balances, and service history using existing report templates and customizing when appropriate to compliment proposals and aid in the retention of existing Owners
  • Responsible for the creation and submission of program contracts
  • Acts as the internal knowledge expert for NetJets and must continually maintain a solid understanding on products and services, processes, and business development program information
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from the Sales team throughout all aspects of the Sales cycle
  • Verify active Owner participation in the NetJets program, checking current flight and purchase activity and advising business development partners who provide additional benefits and services to NetJets Owners
  • Will determine and coordinate best interaction with Owner Services, Marketing, Finance, Legal and/or IT departments when necessary to gain more detailed answers
  • Ensure all technology and processes are working correctly and all materials to be sent out are picked up as appropriate
  • Responsible for contacting the appropriate vendors when applicable to remediate issues
  • Handles additional projects or responsibilities that aid the overall success of the Sales and Marketing Department
  • Will participate in training and development initiatives and hiring through group interviewing
  • Will represent NetJets at prospect and Owner events including but not limited to prospect and Owner check-in, greeting and event team support.

    • Excellent verbal and written communications are a must
    • Must have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to constantly changing situations and many different personalities

    • Must be organized and persistent in follow-through of tasks throughout a long-term sales cycle
    • Sales skills a must for career development into a Sales or related role
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and sales database management
    • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is not required, but preferred
