Position Details:
--- Title: Project Sales Advisor
--- Location: Columbus, OH
--- Travel/Schedule: You generally will work standard hours Mon-Fri, but ultimately you will be responsible for all sales operations in the territory that includes the Columbus - Dayton - Cincinnati markets.
--- Compensation: Base salary $52K + commissions
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Commission opportunities are uncapped (no ceiling) and are based on sales revenue generated. Typically, a first year Advisor will earn a W-2 -$100K-$125K. It is not unusual to have annual earnings north of $200K by year three.
--- Benefits: Company offers an industry-standard, comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance (PPO and HSA options); Life / AD&D Insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts; Short- and Long-Term Disability; 401K; etc. They are upgrading their plan and rates for 2024 as well.
Position Description: Company is seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable Roofing, Siding and Windows In-Home Sales Project Advisor to join their team. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a commission-based environment, offering uncapped earning potential. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise and industry knowledge in roofing, siding and windows, to connect with clients, assess their needs, and provide tailored solutions to enhance their homes. Some specific responsibilities / expectations include:
--- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with potential clients through in-person meetings, phone calls and digital interactions. Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' roofing, siding, and window requirements. Actively pursue self-generated contacts through community awareness and assessment.
--- Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's roofing, siding, and window product offerings, including features, benefits, and specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide informed product recommendations.
--- Consultative Selling: Present product options clearly, highlighting the unique value propositions of each solution. Customize product recommendations based on clients' preferences, budget, and property needs.
--- Quoting and Proposal Creation: Prepare accurate project quotations and proposals based on client discussions and needs. Communicate pricing, project scope, and timelines transparently to clients.
--- Market Analysis: Identify potential clients and areas for business growth through research and analysis. Monitor competitors' offerings, pricing strategies, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
--- Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales progress, and key insights in the company's CRM system. Provide regular performance reports to management, outlining sales achievements, targets, and projections.
--- Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction, all while installing peace of mind with potential, existing, and past customer relations.

In order to be successful in this role, you ideally will have proven sales experience, preferably within the roofing, siding, or window industry. You should have a solid understanding of residential construction, particularly in roofing, siding, and windows, and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to simplify technical information for easy client comprehension. You must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently, and have proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
