Job Description:
UniFirst First Aid Safety is seeking a dedicated Fire
Extinguisher Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in
ensuring the functionality and readiness of fire extinguishers and
related fire suppression equipment across various client locations.

maintaining the operational integrity and safety standards of fire
extinguishment systems, contributing effectively to our mission of
ensuring workplace safety. Inspect, service, and maintain fire
extinguishers and other fire safety equipment in accordance with
local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Conduct
on-site evaluations to ensure that all fire extinguishing equipment
meets the required safety standards. Document inspection findings
and prepare detailed reports for each customer, outlining
compliance status and recommendations for corrective action where
necessary. Provide training and demonstrations to customers on the
proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers and related
equipment. Schedule and manage routine maintenance and emergency
service calls to ensure timely compliance with fire safety
regulations. Maintain accurate inventory records of parts and
supplies used for billing and replenishment. Proficient in using
tools and technology for maintenance and repair of firefighting
equipment. Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and
compliance documents. Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues
and determination of necessary repairs. Excellent customer service
and communication skills. Capable of handling physical workload
necessary for inspection and maintenance tasks. Medical Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified Fire Extinguisher Technician by a
recognized accrediting body (e.g., NFPA - National Fire Protection
Association). Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal fire safety codes and
regulations.
