The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. The part time co-op runs from May 2026 to May 2027 at our New Albany, OH site. In conjunction with project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and various networking events. Responsibilities may include: Working with the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams on packaging line commercial support, and commissioning and qualification support of new packaging lines, leveraging your analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Working cross-functionally to identify problems, measure the current state, and develop, present, and implement recommendations. Networking with colleagues across the company and enjoy full access to Amgens Employee Resource Groups. The passionate and driven individual we seek exemplifies the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university Must not be employed at the time the internship starts Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op Preferred Qualifications Degree concentration in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, or related degree Previous co-op or internship experience Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability Proven leadership experience on campus (e.g., projects, clubs, organizations, sports) What You Can Expect of Us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
