Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: IV start skills and labor & delivery experience EPIC experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience. The nurse will work night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week. Floating to similar acuity units may be required as needed. The patient ratio on nights will be 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients). Telemetry interpretation is required, and nurses must pass an EKG exam prior to starting. The unit provides family-centered care to postpartum patients, including both vaginal and Cesarean deliveries. Postpartum patients may present with readmissions for wound infection and preeclampsia. Specialized skills in infant care, discharge teaching, blood product administration, and pain management are essential. Candidates should be committed to high-quality patient care and effective communication with families.
